About us
Donna Benjamin (aka @kattekrab) is organising the campaign to digitise The Dawn. She runs a small business called Creative Contingencies and is an active member of the Australian open source community.
Creative Contingencies is providing free hosting for the website, and managing the collection of funds. All proceeds raised will be transferred to the National Library of Australia for the sole purpose of digitising The Dawn: A Journal for Australian Women.
We are also seeking support from women's organisations who share our belief in the value of this important publication being made available to all online. In particular, we seek assistance in promoting the campaign, and endorsing the endeavor. Please email digitisethedawn@gmail.com with offers of support or requests for further information.
